A Message to Our Community

The Calabash Fire Department (CFD) is committed to stopping fires, saving lives, and serving you. Part of our service to you is being transparent about how we operate, spend, and invest. The CFD was established as a non-profit fire department rather than a governmental agency, but because of our commitment to you, our Board of Directors and the Department management  strive to be completely transparent with the public about our spending – to everything from the fewest dimes to the most dollars we receive and return to the Department’s people and equipment.

In order to facilitate such transparency, the above links will take you to documents and information about financial operations, management operations, and information about how to participate in Board meetings for the CFD.

After viewing all the documents, feel free to attend the open meetings and ask any questions you may have about how we work, and how we work for you. You may also contact a Board member or the Fire Chief to give advice or ask additional questions.

Thank you,
Chief Randall Bork
